WCSC–TV in Charleston SC is seeking an individual to fill a full-time News Producer position. Producers are responsible for generating content not only for TV newscasts, but also our web channel. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year experience working in a multi-platform news operation. Candidate should be an excellent writer, possess strong leadership skills, be able to perform well under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced, highly competitive work environment. Experience creating stories and video for online broadcast is a plus. Successful applicant must be able to manage people and be a dependable, hard-working member of the news team. Individual must be willing to work a flexible schedule to include late nights, overnights, weekends and holidays.
