Reporter/Photographer
KAIT-TV, Raycom Media?s ABC Affiliate in Jonesboro, AR is looking for a full time Video Journalist. This person will be responsible for reporting, shooting and editing their own material. Storytelling with words and video is a must. The successful candidate will understand how to operate an ENG truck and work in a tapeless newsroom. This position will either be a photographer or video journalist three days and a video journalist two days each week. Experience preferred, but will hire someone with great potential and work ethic. Bachelor?s degree preferred in Journalism/ Communications or related field. Ability to carry 25 lbs. of camera equipment and stand for long periods of time. Must be willing to work any shift, including nights and weekends. Must have a valid drivers? license and good driving record. Successful candidate must pass a drug screen.
